The Apiro lift/push drive is used for lane adjustments, height adjustments or pusher applications (e.g. beverage and packaging industries). In contrast to the Apiro rack and pinion gears, significantly greater forces of up to 250N can be transmitted. Several gearboxes can be easily synchronised.
At igus®, Apiro® stands for inexpensive worm gears and flexible, customer-specific solutions. The modular gearbox system offers a wide range of products based on the combination of various designs on input and output of the gearbox, different transmission ratios and a wide range of accessories. In addition to worm gears, the modular gearbox system also includes bevel gears and linear gears.
A modular design and the simple connection of individual components allow the cost-effective solution of an infinite number of applications. Hence the name: "Apiro" is the Greek word for "infinite".
Apiro® can also be used to implement special solutions quickly and with little cost.
